The PravoJustice4EU Programme, implemented by Expertise France (EF) with funding from the European Union and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, supports Ukrainian authorities in the continued reform and strengthening of the justice sector.

Under Result 1.7.3, “Penitentiary and probation systems are strengthened in line with European standards”, the Programme supports improvements to policy and regulatory frameworks, professional capacity, institutional arrangements and rehabilitative interventions. Specialised psychological and training expertise is required to strengthen psychological services (1.7.3.1), develop and improve correctional and probation programmes (1.7.3.5), and build the capacity of penitentiary and probation professionals through training, mentoring and supervision (1.7.3.2).
