Project or context description

SUCCESS-FAP – Scale Up CxCa Elimination with Secondary Prevention Strategy Focus Asia Pacific – builds on previous phases of the Unitaid-funded SUCCESS initiative and is implemented in the Philippines and Myanmar.

The project aims to accelerate cervical cancer elimination by strengthening access to secondary prevention services, particularly for vulnerable women and women living in underserved and geographically isolated communities.

In the Philippines, SUCCESS-FAP supports community-based HPV self-sampling, community engagement, patient navigation, referral pathways and access to treatment. In Myanmar, it supports integration of HPV testing and a test–triage–treat approach within primary healthcare services.

As part of its commitments to Unitaid, Expertise France is consolidating implementation evidence and lessons generated through SUCCESS-FAP and relevant earlier SUCCESS phases. The consultant will join this ongoing process.

Required profile

The assignment is intended for an experienced mid-level or senior consultant with strong applied qualitative research, programme learning and analytical writing skills.

Key requirements include:

  • demonstrated experience in MEAL, applied programme learning or evaluation;
  • experience with qualitative methods, including interviews or focus groups;
  • ability to organise, analyse and interpret programme evidence;
  • strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • experience in public health and/or related fields relevant to the assignment;
  • advanced spoken and written English;
  • ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with Expertise France and project partners.
