Description de la mission

I.      Context and justification of the need

 

The TAKATUF Project implements multiple activities throughout 2026–2028 across Jordan, including workshops, trainings, and conferences involving participants from government entities, civil society organizations, and development partners. These activities require systematic data collection, monitoring, and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and to assess the effectiveness and impact of interventions.

To ensure efficient and reliable data management, there is a need to engage a qualified IT consultant to design, manage, and maintain digital survey tools, as well as to analyze collected data and generate meaningful insights.

The IT consultant is expected to provide:

 

  • Development and management of online surveys using tools such as Google Forms or other suitable platforms.
  • Customization of surveys based on activity type (workshops, trainings, events) and project requirements.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and proper organization of collected responses.
  • Regular maintenance and troubleshooting of survey tools.
  • Data cleaning and validation to ensure high-quality datasets.
  • Extraction and consolidation of data from multiple sources when needed.
  • Initial data analysis, including identification of key trends, patterns, and findings.
  • Preparation of summary reports and visual representations (charts, dashboards) to support decision-making.

 

Engaging a specialized IT consultant will enhance the quality and reliability of data collected under the TAKATUF Project, support timely reporting, and enable the project team to make informed decisions while focusing on program implementation and stakeholder engagement.

 

II.      Objectives and desired results

 

1)      General objective

 

The objective of this assignment is to support the development, management, and analysis of surveys using tools such as Google Forms or other relevant platforms, and to provide structured insights from collected data.

 

2)      Specific objectives

 

 

The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

·        Design and develop online surveys using tools such as Google Forms or similar platforms per request.

·        Ensure surveys are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with project objectives.

·        Manage and maintain survey tools, including updates and troubleshooting.

·        Ensure proper data collection, storage, and organization.

·        Clean and validate collected data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

·        Analyze data using appropriate tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or other statistical tools).

·        Produce initial data analysis and summaries, including key trends and insights.

·        Develop simple dashboards or visualizations (charts, graphs) where needed.

·        Provide technical support related to survey tools during implementation.

 

3)      Anticipated results

 

The consultant is expected to deliver:

 

  • Well-structured and functional online survey forms.
  • Cleaned and organized report (including database, graphs, analyses , initial findings ,  insights , Visual summaries (charts, dashboards if required .etc )

III.      Description of the assignment

 

The IT consultant will support the TAKATUF Project in designing and managing online surveys, ensuring effective digital data collection for project activities implemented between 2026–2028.

The assignment includes developing surveys using tools such as Google Forms or similar platforms, ensuring proper data organization, quality control, and maintenance of survey tools.

The consultant will also clean and analyze collected data, identify key trends and findings, and prepare summary reports and visual outputs (e.g., charts or dashboards) to support project reporting and decision-making.

The consultant will work closely with the project team to ensure timely implementation and alignment with project needs.

I.      equired expertise and profile

 

The IT consultant should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing online surveys using tools such as Google Forms or similar platforms.
  • Strong experience in data management, cleaning, and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis software.
  • Experience in developing data visualizations (charts, dashboards) and presenting findings in a clear and structured manner.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and data interpretation is an asset.
  • Ability to handle and organize large datasets with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to survey tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.

 

II.      Assignment reports

 

Throughout the assignment, the consultant is expected to provide:

  • Regular progress updates on survey development, data collection status, and any technical issues encountered.
  • Timely submission of datasets, ensuring they are cleaned, validated, and properly organized.
  • Periodic analytical summaries highlighting key findings, trends, and insights from collected data.
  • Final report summarizing all activities conducted, methodologies used, key results, and recommendations for future data collection and analysis improvements.

All reports and deliverables should be submitted in English (or Arabic, if required) and in agreed formats, including editable files (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel, dashboards, or other relevant tools).

 

III.      Submission Requirements

 

Interested candidates are requested to submit the following documents:

  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting relevant experience in survey design, data management, and analysis.
  • Technical proposal outlining the approach and methodology for designing surveys, managing data, and conducting analysis.
  • Financial proposal indicating the daily rate or lump sum fee for the assignment (in JOD), inclusive of all costs. (the financial rate could be implemented as:

-        Daily rate per survey (for example 3 day by max per survey)

-        Cost per survey.

  • Samples of previous work (e.g., survey tools, data analysis reports, dashboards) or references from similar assignments.

Note: 

-        Incomplete applications, including those missing the Technical Offer, Financial Offer, or any required supporting documents may not be considered.
