Project background
Private Sector Development in Liberia (PSD Liberia) is a EUR 25 million project funded by the European Union under the Global Gateway strategy. Implemented over four years (2025–2029), it is jointly delivered by Expertise France and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
The project aims to support the development of Liberia’s private sector and promote more inclusive and sustainable economic growth, with particular attention to women, young people and persons with disabilities. It is structured around three results:
Expertise France is responsible for Results 1 and 2, while the ILO leads Result 3.
Expertise France opened its country office in Liberia in July 2026. It brings together support functions – administration, finance, logistics and procurement – to assist the Agency’s portfolio of projects in the country.
