Under the Team Leader management and the Deputy Team Leader ‘s supervision, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
Communications coordination and support:
· Collect communications and visibility needs from the operational teams
· Create and harmonize communication tool templates, primarily for internal team use but also for external / institutional purposes.
· Coordinate the communications agency tasks according to the project needs (consolidate requests from different component teams, etc.)
· Liaise with Expertise France and the EUD communications officers for any questions regarding institutional guidelines. Ensure alignment of the produced materials with EF and EU frameworks.
· Contribute to communication tasks and the organization of internal events, particularly the preparation of recurring meetings and committees (Steering Committee, Strategic Committee, consortium coordination meetings, and Project Management Unit).
· Participate in the creation, formatting, and dissemination of the materials required for these committees (agendas, minutes, presentations, briefing notes).
· Propose, implement, and maintain tools that support the management of consortium partners, as well as the monitoring of jointly conducted events (dashboards, shared calendars, partner sheets, etc.)
· Support the mapping and identification of relevant communications channels for the project activities
· Support events organization (concept development, logistical arrangements, communications and visibility actions, liaison with participants)
· Contribute to the preparation of Monitoring and Evaluation materials, such as surveys, and data collection from C&V actions
Knowledge management:
· Contribute to proper documents archiving in both the Expertise France (internal) and Consortium (external) sharepoints
· Ensure all relevant documents are accessible to the relevant teams
· Ensure C&V materials are regularly updated and uploaded in the respective folders
· Collect project operational updates, events news and other communications subjects for regular updates of the C4CA online page
Expertise France is the French public international cooperation agency. It designs and implements projects which aim to contribute to the sustainable development of partner countries, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda and the priorities of France’s external action.
The Digital Connectivity for Central Asia (C4CA) action, implemented by Expertise France alongside a consortium of four European cooperation agencies, funded by the European Union, aims to support digitally-driven socio-economic inclusion in Central Asia, by fostering safe and inclusive satellite connectivity access and use, particularly for women youth and further marginalised groups.
Launched in January 2025 for a duration of four years, with a total budget of 20 million EUR, C4CA offers to collaborate with Central Asian stakeholders on four key priorities:
1. To foster the development and use of ICT connectivity through the development of policies and regulations.
2. Improve transparent and inclusive access to connectivity services, focusing on rural areas, gender equality and marginalised right-holders.
3. Promote the use of satellite-enabled technologies to foster local digital innovations.
4. Build cybersecurity capacity and awareness, and establish comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks
Ensuring effective communication and visibility of the project activities is a critical component of the project success, as well as coherency across the consortium members’ messaging.
- Education: Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public relations or similar;
- Proficiency in written English. Russian, any Central Asian countries, French, would be an asset;
- Great interpersonal skills and team-spirit ;
- Time-management skills;
- Previous experience working with social media, project communication, community management, public relations or similar;
- Experience or willingness to learn working with digital communications tools (Illustrator, Indesign, Canva, etc).
- Proficiency using the Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
