Mission description
Objectives of the consultancy
To develop a strategic and engaging animated video (approx. 2-3 minutes) that highlights:
- Key activities and outputs (expert consultations, workshops, strategy development, ect.)
- Achievement and added value
- Strategic recommendations and proposed next steps
- Opportunities for continuity and scaling
This video will be used as a core communication tool, and will be shared with several stakeholders and disseminated online.
Scope of work
The consultant will undertake the following activities:
· Design a script and storyboard based on project materials and inputs from expert team.
· Produce a 2-3 minutes animated video
· Create short teaser versions (30-60 seconds) for presentations.
· Design complementary visual (eg. Infographic, one-pager)
Deliverables
- Storyboard and script: to be developed with project team and validated by EF
- One animated video: 2-3 minutes
- Teaser clips: 2 x 30-60 seconds extracts
- Strategic visuals: 1-2 infographics summarising the regional strategy
- Final communication toolkit: All files in usable formats
Project or context description
The Ship Waste Management project aims to enhance maritime waste management practices and reduce marine pollution in ASEAN countries. The key deliverable of the project is a regional strategy for ship waste management. As the project nears completion, we would like to highlight key achievements and strategic recommendations in a clear and engaging way.
Target Audience
· ASEAN Member States (ministries of transport, environment, maritime authorities)
· ASEAN Secretariat
· Donors and development partners interested in environmental and maritime cooperation
· Port authorities and private sector stakeholders in ASEAN
Required profile
· Minimum 5 years of experience in communication, graphic design, or video production.
· Proven ability to develop engaging capitalization materials on environmental or maritime topics.
· Strong writing and editing skills in English (ASEAN language knowledge is a plus).
· Experience working with development projects or international organizations preferred.
