Mission description
The National Logistics Officer reports hierarchically and functionally to the Operations Security Department (OSD) and the Logistics Manager for Libya Programs based in Tunis.
Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager for Libya Programs, he/she acts as the focal point to ensure the monitoring of personnel, premises, and assets of Expertise France in Libya and daily monitoring of the country's context evolution.
This job description may be adjusted based on the specific needs of the agency and the requirements of the position.
Tasks:
In constant coordination with the Logistics Manager of Expertise France in Libya:
• Support the organization of missions and activities of Expertise France in Libya.
• Ensure the implementation and compliance with procedures related to the concerned missions and activities.
• Monitor the smooth progress of missions and activities in Libya and relationships with the involved service providers.
• Provide recurrent updates on the situation in Libya by providing periodic reports and transmit relevant information in case of particular situations.

Required profile
• Has at least 2 years of successful experience as a logistics focal point for an international organization.
• Good level of English.
• In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and stakeholder dynamics regarding security in Tripoli and Libya;
• Ability to work independently and make quick and appropriate decisions in emergency situation.
• Attention to reporting and writing skills.
Cross-functional Skills:
• Proficiency in common software (Word, Excel, Power Point);
• Use of mapping tools (datawrapper): ability to interpret geographic data and create visual representations to support operational activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• This position requires excellent adaptability (working hours and responsiveness to emergencies).
