Mission description
In the framework of the development and implementation of civil protection projects by expertise France, we are looking to add new profiles to our roster for both short term and long term missions.
Project or context description
We develop and implement civil protection projets which include a variety of activities:
- Trainings and trainings of trainers;
- Workshops and seminars;
- Study visits, risk and needs assesment/mapping;
- Legal, governance, institutional and organisational support;
- Equipment procurement;
- Infrastructure
We are looking for profiles with expertise in the following sections:
- Civil protection governance;
- Civil protection legal documents;
- Design and delivery of table-top exercices and on-site crisis simulation;
- Specialisation in floods management, forest fires, search and rescue
Required profile
We are looking for experts from the public and private sector (public administration, academic field, security forces, civil protection) wo match the following criteria :
- Degree in international relations, risk/crisis management;
- More than 10 years of experience in civil protection;
- International experience, preferably in the framework of a development/cooperation project - considered an asset;
- Experience in project management -considered an asset;
- Knowledge of English, French, Spanish, Russian or any other language - considered an asset;
- Capacity to work in multicultural settings
